In preview – Azure SQL Database automatic tuning by default powered by artificial intelligence
Automatic tuning in Azure SQL Database uses the power of artificial intelligence to provide insight into potential query performance problems, recommend solutions, and automatically fix identified problems. It provides this service to peak performing databases at a large scale through continuous monitoring, identifying and applying tuning actions in a safe and managed fashion. This mature capability, consisting of automated index management and plan regression correction, will be enabled by default.
