In preview – Azure Functions on Linux

We now support running Azure Functions on the Linux platform. This will provide additional deployment options to developers who might prefer one OS target over the other. Developers targeting Linux will have two options for deploying their Functions—they could either bring their code and run it on pre-configured Linux targets, or they'll be able to bring their own containers with all dependencies contained, and deploy them. In both cases, developers will be able to use all the unique benefits of Azure Functions such as triggers and bindings.
